Press release from: AristoMedia
(openPR) - Twenty-six episode series to begin airing on Australia’s Country Music Channel Oct. 23
(Nashville, Tenn. – Oct. 7, 2010) DigitalRodeo.com continues its global Country music initiatives with the launch of its new series, “O’SHEA USA,” to air on Australia’s Country Music Channel (CMC).
Produced by U.S.-based Country lifestyle and social network site, DigitalRodeo.com, “O’SHEA USA” is a series of edgy, 2-3 minute episodes hosted by CMT “Can You Duet” finalists, O’Shea. Originally from Australia, but based in Nashville for the last four years, the husband and wife duo give a behind-the-scenes look into life as up-and-coming Country artists and report on location from various Country music events around the U.S.
“We are very excited about this whole thing. It's a great way for us to meet new folks, share our adventures on the road and all the crazy shenanigans that go with it!” says CMAA award-winner Mark O’Shea. The duo’s most recent single, “Old School,” is currently at Country radio in Australia, and the video is airing on CMC.
The first season of the 26 “O’SHEA USA” installments are currently in production and begin airing on CMC Australia on Saturday, Oct. 23. Archived clips will also be available at DR TV, DigitalRodeo.com’s free online video library of exclusive DR programming.
“We are very excited to be working with O'Shea,” says Digital Rodeo Director of Marketing and Promotions, John Pyne. “In addition to being an incredibly talented duo, Mark and Jay bring a great energy and a fresh, fun approach as hosts of O'Shea USA. Think of some of the great hosting couples, add some Australian charm, and that's O'Shea.”
Adds CMC Program Director Tim Daley, “CMC is excited to bring our friends Mark and Jay O'Shea home via ‘O'SHEA USA.’ They will give CMC viewers an Aussie perspective of Country music in the USA with exclusive interviews, road stories and behind-the-scenes access. We look forward to spending time with the O'Sheas, both here in Australia and all over the USA.”
