EU-MAN is an international group of artists working and living in the EU. The collective was founded January 10th, 1997 with the participation of individual migrant artists. The aim of the collective was and still to this day is the promotion of contemporary art work through large and small scale exhibitions throughout the EU. The shows are usually accompanied by a series of publications including the seasonal release of the art magazine Universal Colours.

The work featured in the exhibition deals with themes of merging and reconciling cultures as well as of identities exploring the power of visual art to transcend boundaries, whilst enabling the artists to retain their roots. The art works represent an assimilation of heritage, tradition and language.

EU-MAN's origins lie in Finland with Denmark and Holland being the first EU countries to join. Nowadays the organisation has expanded to most European states having implemented more than 27 exhibitions including ones in Finland, Denmark, Austria, Poland, Sweden and Russia.

As part of this cooperation the European Union Migrant Artists’ Network (EU-MAN) in collaboration with the Russian 'Manege' Group from St. Petersburg is organising a group exhibition at Red Gate Gallery, London in November 2010.

The Autumn Salon is part of EU-MAN’s annual tradition that stretches back to the very beginnings in 1997.
This year’s Autumn Salon will be celebrating the organisation’s first time exposure to a London audience, one of the biggest art audiences in Europe and we hope and aim to make our mark in England’s art scene. This forthcoming exhibition endeavors to continuously raise awareness of EU-MAN.
