ALLIGATOR DIGITAL MAGAZINES creates a new platform for digital magazines on the iPad
Press release from: Alligator Digital Magazines
(openPR) - This week all eyes are on the Frankfurt Book Fair. We are proud to annouce that ALLIGATOR DIGITAL MAGAZINES will make its debut there. This is an iPad app for the creation and delivery of digital magazines.
Los Angeles/Frankfurt, Oct. 5, 2010: Our story begins with the book. The invention of the printing press was already the third major media revolution - building upon writing and the spoken word. Until now the internet has been the biggest development in communication since Gutenburg. How does it continue?
Fully Customizable Magazine Framework
An interactive media company based in Berlin and Los Angeles developed ALLIGATOR DIGITAL MAGAZINES and hope to satisfy the needs of creators of high-quality digital content. Authors and journalists need only input text and photo content, the rest is managed by the app. Plain text becomes a stylish and publication-ready magazine. Most importantly, however, are the options for delivering premium content to help finance the creation of new content. The publisher can decide whether to offer the resulting magazine for free or based on a subscription model.
Travel Magazine Test Case
Writers of travel journalism frequently face the question: "How can I present this experience in the most realistic an compelling way?" Travel journalism in every magazine lives from visual content. Regardless of whether it is the Australian Outback or the Mecklenburg Lake Region, travel writing conveys and snapshot of the reality that the author experienced. With ALLIGATOR DIGITAL MAGAZINES the iPad becomes a mobile magazine platform. Travel writing can be easily and effectively expanded with every sort of multimedia content and delivered on the go.
Room for New Business Models
The iPad application can be easily obtained in the Apple App Store. ALLIGATOR DIGITAL MAGAZINES naturally offers publishers solutions for media rich advertising placement in each edition. This further expands the opportunity to monetize content in the digital realm.

Comments about openPR
OpenPR ist the nicest and most clearly laid out PR platform I have seen to this day. The press releases are displayed very nicely and clearly and without any unnecessary frills.
The updates are fast and the finished release looks appealing and is clearly legible.
Even with 16 years of experience one discovers new things from time to time.
Congratulations!
