The international jury has once again awarded CodeMeter as one of the top 5 products in the category “Best Digital Rights Management” for the SIIA Codie Awards 2007. In 2005, it was in the top 5. With the placing as "Finalist" in 2007, CodeMeter again has received the important qualification and the chance for being elected as a winner in this category by the members of the association "Software and Information Industry Association" (SIIA, www.siia.net). The best products will be announced during a gala in San Francisco on April 17, 2007. The German Wibu-Systems AG as manufacturer of CodeMeter will be represented by their American subsidiary Wibu-Systems USA, Inc.

For the 22nd Anual Codie Awards there has been a nomination for 1,200 products, among them 367 finalists have now been chosen in 72 categories. "The 2007 Codie Finalists represent real winners, even at this stage of this contest," said Ken Wasch, SIIA President. "Competition is fiercer than ever and that makes selection as a Codie Finalist a real achievement."

CodeMeter offers an easy to integrate protection for software vendors and flexible license options with user-friendly functions for users. It includes personal security functions such as password management, secure login, file encryption and an optional available memory in the USB hardware CM-Stick.

Oliver Winzenried, C.E.O. of the German Wibu-Systems AG, is enthusiastic: "It is marvelous receiving international acceptance for CodeMeter through the SIIA Codie Awards. And the next jury has been available and will be active before the CeBIT: with the international Hacker’s Contest 2007 we challenge the world of hackers.
