Ten states now have the popular State Park app available in the Apple app store. With the release of the tenth state (Utah), the company is celebrating by giving away 100 free copies of their apps.

Utah joins Alabama, Alaska, California, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, New Mexico, Ohio and Oregon as the current apps that are now available for sale.

These apps all follow the same format and now include a total of more than 1000 individual parks. Each state is complete with several ways to search for parks, including a list sorted by region, a map of all parks in the state, GPS location detection to locate parks by proximity to the user, and a search option to search for parks based on specific keywords.

Each park has a description, activities, directions, hours, contact information, current weather, fees, a bulletin board for user comments, and even photo submission directly from your iPhone or iPod touch.

State parks feature beaches and mountains, rolling hills, rivers, forests, lakes, and historical areas. State parks are family friendly - many parks have playgrounds and picnic areas, as well as developed and electric campsites. Some of the activities you can enjoy in the parks include: biking, hiking, boating, camping, swimming, fishing, golf, horseback riding, family fun, photography, and relaxation!

With these apps you can find your next adventure, get the most from your experience while you're visiting, post about your experience for other users, and even upload pictures directly from the palm of your hand.
