MetricStream to Sponsor a Webinar on ‘The Benefits of IT Risk Management Automation’
Press release from: MetricStream, Inc.
(openPR) - MetricStream Inc., the market leader in enterprise-wide Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) solutions, today announced that Andrew Brorsen, a CPA and PMP certified practice leader, will join Vidyadhar Phalke, Chief Technology Officer at MetricStream, in a webinar on “The Benefits of IT Risk Management Automation”. The discussion will be moderated by Brandon Dunlap, Managing Director of Research at Brightfly.
About the webinar
With IT risks posing serious threats to data security, organizations are scrambling to affect a comprehensive risk management framework. Traditionally, risks were managed and analyzed using manual, paper-based procedures. But given the variety and complexity of IT risks today, the manual approach has proven to be inefficient because it requires tremendous investments, manpower, effort and time. Besides, it is prone to errors and therefore not entirely reliable.
On the other hand, an automated risk management process not only increases efficiency, but also helps to save on time and costs. In addition, it improves maturity scores by ensuring complete compliance with IT GRC frameworks such as COBIT and ISO 27002. On a larger level, automated risk management enhances returns on IT investments and allows organizations to focus on their core business.
The webinar is aimed at providing insights into how organizations can best establish an automated risk management approach.
Attendees will learn about:
* The importance of IT risk management
* Challenges of manual risk management processes
* Benefits of process automation
* Best practices to automate IT risk management
