vandal-proof TVIP72000 network dome camera

ABUS Security-Center is launching the new Eyseo IP dome camera series at the Security 2010 in Essen. The vandal-proof TVIP70000 and TVIP72000 network dome cameras have an especially flat housing and an angle of vision of 108° which makes them especially suitable for unobtrusive monitoring in elongated premises with low ceilings such as underpasses and passages.

The vandal-proof IP dome cameras have been specially developed for use in tough conditions – made possible by protection according to IP54 and aluminium-zinc die cast housing. The wide angle of view (108°) and special flat housing design ensures complete surveillance without any sloping image areas. This means that a corridor can be monitored without any blind spots – from one end to the other. The network dome cameras use automatic white balance (AWB), electric light compensation (ELC) and back light compensation (BLC) to react quickly to changing lighting conditions and use progressive scanning to ensure that objects in motion remain in focus.

Multi-stream and mobile viewing
The dome cameras, which are only the size of a saucer, come with a multi-stream function: in addition to two streams for display or recording in H.264, MPEG-4 or MJPEG format, the images can also be viewed in parallel on mobile phones and smartphones using the RTSP protocol.
PoE makes installation simple

The cameras are incredibly easy to install thanks to the drilling templates provided. Power over Ethernet (PoE) further simplifies installation, as only one cable is required for both the power supply and video transmission.

Availability
Depending on requirements, infrastructure and budget, the TVIP70000 VGA model and the TVIP72000 HD 1080p, 2.0 megapixel version dome camera are due to go on sale from December 2010 at specialist retailers.
