At the Security 2010 trade fair in Essen, ABUS Security-Center is presenting the new Eytron HDRplus hybrid digital recorder models: the TVVR60010 with eight analogue channels and the TVVR60020, with 16. In addition to this, recordings from up to eight IP cameras are possible. The “plus” in the name of the new hybrid digital recorder is the real-time recording at full resolution.

The new HDRplus models come with a wide range of network functions: live view, playback, export and remote configuration functions are just a few of the services provided by the high performance recorder. The signals are compressed in H.264 format. Redundant storage of video and audio data on up to eight SATA hard disks ensures maximum security. The new HDRplus models have user-friendly features such as status LEDs, acoustic warning signals and multi-language output of the most important functions. The hybrid digital recorders are capable of real-time recording (full resolution real-time: 25fps @ 4 CIF) at full resolution. The TVVR60020 also has an additional integrated VGA connection as well as an HDMI output.

“The ever increasing resolution of cameras means demands on digital recorders are also higher,” said Gregor Schnitzler, head of technology at ABUS Security-Center. “The HDRplus models are not just a response to this, we are also responding to customer demand.”

Availability
The new Eytron HDRplus hybrid digital recorder models are due to go on sale in mid-October 2010.
