Ibstock Launches Smartphone Brick App
Press release from: IBSTOCK BRICK Ltd
(openPR) - Ibstock has launched a new, free to download ‘Brick App’ specifically designed to allow customers to order samples, view technical specs and access stockist information, all at the touch of a button from their mobile phones.
The new Ibstock Brick App, which is the first of its kind, has been developed as a mobile brick selector for use on Smartphones such as the Blackberry and iPhone. Offering excellent functionalities including the ability to quickly and easily order brick samples, thumbnail and full size quality images and full technical specifications for more than 450 Ibstock bricks, the new online tool is set to save valuable time, allowing builders to stay onsite for longer.
Andrew Halstead-Smith, marketing manager at Ibstock, commented: ”Technology is continually evolving and recently there has been as massive surge in the uptake of mobile phone applications. These new developments have enabled us to provide a better service to our customers, making their working day even easier.
“Our newly launched Brick App will provide customers with access to our comprehensive range of bricks, within a few seconds, anytime, anywhere and for free. Just as we did when we launched our revolutionary product portfolio and online brick selector, we are changing the way in which the brick industry does business and setting a new standard in service.”
The new Ibstock app allows users to find bricks based on colour, type, texture, size and name, as well as find the nearest Ibstock stockist.
To download the Ibstock Brick App for free, visit www.ibstock.com/mobile from your mobile phone internet browser. For more information on any of the Ibstock range of products and literature visit www.ibstock.com.
