Best Western Blunsdon House launches first fully integrated

Best Western Blunsdon House Hotel, UK, and German protel hotelsoftware announce the launch of the first booking engine completely integrated in Facebook. It is now possible to complete an entire booking straight from the hotel's Facebook fan page without having to leave Facebook or visit another website. Facebook users can view the hotel's offer and book a room realtime while at the same time chatting with their friends.

This is spectacularly new: Starting with the idea for next weekend's outing, Facebook users will now be able to plan and organize the whole trip entirely at Facebook. Finding a hotel, selecting a room, defining the length of stay and the number of travellers - protel Social Netbooking not only allows to discuss and settle all these details in teamwork but to carry out the actual booking straight away without ever having to leave Facebook. The new feature is an enhancement to the online distribution functions of protel hotel property management systems SPE and MPE and web-based hotel management software bookatonce, opening another promising channel to further advance the hotel distribution via the Internet.

The new solution makes the power and the advantages of the well-proven protel WBE useable in further surroundings: Besides its integration into the hotel's website, it's possible to offer the real time booking system services via the hotel`s Facebook fan page at the same time - and thereby opening up the social networkers' huge community as a new customer segment. The enthusiasm concerning "interactive platforms" is increasing rapidly, as shown by a recent survey. The number of visitors, page views and the average length of stay have doubled within one year and are increasing continuously. It is of great importance especially to "Facebookers" not having to leave their network. Accordingly, it is self-evident that hotels placing their offers at Facebook may definitely expect to find new customers.

protel online reservation systems allow quick and comfortable booking via the internet. No matter if non-binding requests or firm bookings: Information on availabilities und rates are drawn in real time from the protel property management system used by the hotel. Flexibility, versatility and user orientation as well as an appealing exposure of the offerings play an important role, regardless of whether it's rooms, wellness packages, arrangements or events. Additional features like the "One-click-upgrade" cater for higher room rates by average without requiring extra effort.
