Wednesday, September 15, in Washington, D.C.

Kizner will focus on the capabilities of Adobe’s new Digital Magazine Solution for publishing content directly from Adobe InDesign to App Store-ready iPad editions and other tablets. He will also explain how these tools integrate with the vjoon K4 Cross-Media Publishing Platform, offering publishers a full-featured workflow management system for getting content to any medium — print, Web, tablet and more.

In addition to Kizner’s presentation, the day’s agenda includes techniques for implementing interactive elements in InDesign documents, enhancing PDF and SWF content with multimedia, and essential e-publishing practices for creating on-screen publications.

Tuesday’s session, “Tips and Techniques for Every InDesign User,” is designed to take users “to the next level of InDesign expertise.” It will include discussions and demos highlighting performance techniques, troubleshooting tips and recommendations for optimizing InDesign workflows.
