Taipei, Sep. 7, 2010 - Thinwaves, a rising star of thin client solution provider, announced the availability of its Citrix Ready™ thin client model, the C10VW, to enhance Citrix application delivery infrastructure solutions. The Certificated “Citrix Ready” is designed to help customers identify the third-party solutions that add the greatest value in Citrix driven environments.Successfully passed a series of tests specified by Citrix, Thinwaves C10VW can be trusted to work effectively with Citrix XenApp and offers significant business benefits over using traditional PCs such as enhanced reliability, higher security, centralized management and control, lower TCO and higher ROI.
The C10VW is a Microsoft Windows Embedded Standard based thin client, which enables office productivity and capable for virtual desktop computing through Microsoft RDP or Citrix ICA protocols.
C10VW Features Highlight:
• VIA C7 1GHz / Eden ULV 1GHz / Eden ULV 1.6GHz processor with VX800 chipsets
• Meets ENERGY STAR® specification
• Idle power consumption is less than 13W, sleep and off mode are less than 1.6W
• I/O ports : USB x 4, COM x 1, DVI x 1, VGA x 1, PS/2 x 1, RJ45 Giga LAN x 2 (LAN2 optional) and audio ports
• Smart card reader and WLAN (optional)
• Applications and protocols support : Microsoft RDP, Citrix XenApp, and Citrix XenDesktop
• Supports remote manager Poseidon for centralized management and monitoring
