(openPR) - Johannesburg, South Africa – Goscor Engines launched a 350 Liter IBA Bragagnolo concrete mixer, in Southern Africa this week.
Goscor Engines division, as part of the ongoing strategy to provide more than just engines, pumps and generators to the industrial market, decided to expand their product range and entered into the supply of construction related equipment using Robin Subaru engines during 2006. The Meiwa 70 kg rammer, equipped with a Robin EH12D 2.6 KW (3.5 ps) engine was the first product to be launched in this range of construction equipment.
Following the successful Rammer launch, requests from the industry indicated that there is a demand for additional construction equipment, which would withstand the harsh Southern African conditions. After proper investigation, Goscor Engines teamed up with IBA from Italy and now launched the CE 350 concrete mixer.
Bragagnolo srl (IBA), construction equipment manufacturer based in Italy, has been in operation for more than fifty years and is a well-known brand in Europe. Its innovative technologies, quality research from design to production and competitiveness in the construction arena has made IBA a leader in Italy and Europe.
Southern Africa is known for its harsh dry and dusty conditions, which place a lot of strain on any type of construction equipment. As a result thorough research was done in conjunction with IBA in order to determine which engines would be able to handle these harsh conditions and this resulted into the CE 350 concrete mixer equipped with a Robin EY20B engine, which increased the quality of the product.
The Robin EY20B engine is an air-cooled 4-cycle single cylinder side valve horizontal shaft petrol engine making it the ideal engine to be used in conjunction with the CE350 concrete mixer.
The CE 350 concrete mixer, on the other hand, is designed and manufactured according to the “European directives for machines”, and the most stringent International testing. Combined with the Robin Subaru EY20B engine, this concrete mixer is not just sturdy but could withstand rough handling and dry, dusty conditions which we experience in Southern Africa.
“At Goscor we believe in quality products and service delivery. We therefore carefully select our suppliers as we understand our customers’ needs as far as quality products and service is concerned. Teaming up with IBA to bring the CE350 concrete mixer to the Southern African market, combining this concrete mixer with a Robin/Subaru engine just made sense as we are combining quality products with after sales service which results in the best for our customers.” Says Justin Kitson, Manager at Goscor Engines.
“The concrete mixer has already been tested locally and proved to be able to withstand our dusty and dry conditions. Not forgetting the DIY market, we will also be launching the Jolly 140 concrete mixer, which is ideal for maintenance work and smaller construction sites. The Jolly 140 is steadfast, do not require maintenance or lubrication, are robust and easier to handle or transport. More about this nifty concrete mixer later….” says Kitson.
