(openPR) - The file hosting and digital goods distribution company Tradebit, Inc. announced today that the new year brought a boost in downloads from their platform www.tradebit.com.
The CEO of the company, Ralf Schwoebel, told us that around 30% of the downloads are related to music or video content. Around 15% of the downloads came from myspace users, who host photos or flash animations for their personal site on tradebit.
Regarding to the company's founder the monthly revenue of the platform in digital goods also soared around the christmas time to a higher 6 digit figure.
He points out, that the platform runs from a Linux cluster, the company built on standard rack PCs and serves now around 20 Terabytes of data.
