(openPR) - “Axxom goes app” – that’s the motto of Axxom Software AG at this years’ trade fair IMHX (hall 20, booth F95) to be held from November 16 - 19 in Birmingham (UK). In addition to its standard applications, the company is presenting its new strategy for smartphone and pad software. The Axxom apps are intended to enable the user to plan and to optimize logistics, staff planning, supply chain and production processes on mobile phones like Apple’s iPhone or RIM’s Blackberry.
“The market share for smartphones is growing just as rapidly as the demand for mobile business applications,” says Dr. Dirk Leising, CEO of Axxom. “We intend to take account of this trend by improving our leading optimizing and planning solutions for use on these mobile platforms.”
With the new apps by Axxom, executives in charge of logistics, production and the supply chain can just use their smartphones and pads easily and conveniently to bring up the most important data and information from the Axxom solutions, then perform analysis and re-planning or initiate optimizing calculations.
