(openPR) - London, July 2010 / In July 2010 Jumeirah unveiled its new Royal Suite at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower in London. Earlier this year KMD completed the stonework there. The suite was designed by Khuan Chew, who was also responsible for the interior design of the famous Burj Al Arab in Dubai.
The design of the 155 square meter suite is characterized by an unusual mix of materials and finishes. The floors and walls of the living room are Marron Fossil marble and Nero Assoluto. The suite’s bathroom features a Jacuzzi bath, Swarovski crystal studded twin basins, walk-in rain shower, and stone vanity top, bath surround and flooring. A design highlight are the precious gem materials Gold Tiger Eye, Tiger Iron Red, Blue Tiger Eye, Picture Jasper and Mother of Pearl which were used as decorative stones on the vanity top and as flooring inlays.
