Press release from: mceti AG

Cologne, Jan. 3rd, 2006: Release 1,1 of the already announced pragmasuite™ is shifted on in the middle of February 2007. The Cologne/Germany – based technology consultancy mceti AG cites a substantial change of the licence model and a new look-and-feel as the reason for the delay. In the coming release of pragmasuite, all non-commercial development projects will be offered unlimited licences free of charge. Also, open source projects will profit from the free licences. The new strategy aims to make it easier for performance-hungry development teams to learn the advantages of the pragmasuite technology, in particular focused on feature and defect management component of the pragmasuite, the pragma::tims. To assure the powerful multi-user capability of the suite, the free-of-charge version will be based on the open source database PostgreSQL. A new, ergonomic Look and Feel will also be a highlight of the coming release.
