(openPR) - Linda Handley, recently named Executive Director of Women’s Small Business Association, (WSBA), went from working in a multi-billion dollar corporate business to owning her own small business. In the role of Executive Director, Handley will grow and strengthen the WSBA, developing supportive partnerships with area organizations that share the WSBA mission; creating new educational opportunities geared toward business improvement, and spearhead ongoing efforts to create a WSBA online community for peer-to-peer interaction and direct access to business related information.
Handley an award-winning business professional and author with a Masters degree from the University of Pittsburgh has been passionate in her mission to help others, often through unconventional means going beyond volunteering. Handley is also a dedicated member of the community, who has found many creative ways to help the causes in which she most believes, including donating the proceeds of her book, “Inspired Entrepreneurs”, to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
