Nuremberg, 09. August 2010 – EXASOL, a leading provider of database systems for powerful and complex data analysis, releases the new version of its high-performance database management system (DBMS) – EXASolution – today. Version 3.1 enhances the functionality of the analytical database solution. The solution now supports regular expressions, extending its analytical capabilities further. New features make it easier to integrate EXASolution into existing IT environments and to migrate from other DBMSs.
Using regular expressions, finding search terms in texts is now simpler and more convenient. As more than 20 scalar functions of other database manufacturers such as DEGREES() or RADIAN(S) have been implemented, it is now easier for customers to integrate the solution, including in terms of adaptations needed for SQL queries or load processes.
