LOGIBALL has launched highly precise outdoor navigation maps for Germany, Austria, Switzerland as well as for the complete outdoor areas of South Tyrol and the Spanish island of Majorca. Good news for the navigation and cell phone industry as well as for application service providers and the tourism industry since the LOGIBALL outdoor navigation map contains by far more routable roads than conventional outdoor maps. For example, the Germany outdoor navigation map includes an extra million kilometers of the outdoor network (seamless database including all information) along with an optional 200,000 kilometers of long distance and regional bike routes. In order to bring the traveller to the desired route, the “standard street network” is of course incorporated into the map. It’s this simple: select the desired route, calculate the route to the starting point and off you go! References on heights and upward gradients, rivers and water areas, in addition to locations of restaurants and hotels within the area provide for an effective orientation. The integration of individual content as well as further technical adjustments are also possible.
