QAI and Singapore Computer Society (SCS) to Promote Software

QAI Global Institute (qaiglobalinstitute.com), the workforce development division of QAI has signed an agreement with Singapore Computer Society (scs.org.sg) to promote quality assurance certifications and quality best practices amongst IT professionals in Singapore, at the second annual Infocomm Professional Development Forum on 8th July '10. SCS will offer QAI's globally recognized certifications in Quality Assurance, Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) and Certified Manager for Software Quality (CMSQ) in the country, under this agreement.

CSQA is designed for practitioners with two to four years of working experience in the IT field, while CMSQ is designed for senior-level professionals with over eight years of experience in the software quality assurance field.

The CSQA certification will have CITREP status, which will aid candidates for up to 80 per cent funding under the Singapore government's Critical Infocomm Technology Resource Programme.

QAI has trained in excess of 140,000 professionals and certified more than 38,000 people globally in over 43 countries and looks forward to support the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore's endeavour to create 3000 quality professionals an year.

Commenting on the partnership, Navyug Mohnot, CEO, QAI said, “For over twenty years, the QAI Global Institute has been helping define the Quality profession.
