(openPR) - Annual Review of Best Hospitals

FRANKLIN, Tenn. - (July 16, 2010) - The rankings are out, and three Psychiatric Solutions, Inc. (PSI) facilities were included in U.S. News and World Report’s 2010-2011 Best Hospitals list.

Fairfax Hospital in Kirkland, Wash., Friends Hospital's in Philadelphia and Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center made the list of the best 160 psychiatric hospitals nationwide, as voted by their peers. To compile the ranking, nearly 10,000 physicians, who were surveyed in 2008, 2009 and 2010, were asked to name five hospitals they consider among the best in psychiatry for treating difficult cases, ignoring cost and location.

This year's ranking marks the 21st year the publication has compiled the list of best hospitals to help guide patients who need an unusually high level of hospital expertise.
