Paragon Software (Germany) taps Jeff Hyman to be President of US Division

(openPR) - December 3, 2006 (San Jose, CA Paragon Software Group, the leading provider of innovative, reliable technologies and software solutions in storage management and data safety, announced today that it has appointed veteran software industry executive Jeffrey W. Hyman to spearhead its US sales and marketing operations.

With over 20 years in the computer industry, Mr. Hyman has traveled through both the technical and marketing worlds serving in a myriad of responsible positions, including vice president of product management(Allume Systems) and vice president of marketing
(V Communications). Prior to that he held responsible technical and marketing/sales positions at Avanquest, Nielsen Media Research, Landmark Research International Corp, and Quarterdeck Corporation. Mr. Hyman’s expertise includes product sourcing, branding, product management/marketing, sales, business development, mergers and acquisitions and web development.

My Hyman has provided a leadership role in the launch of some very well known software products including: SystemSuite, Fix-It Utilities, PowerDesk, System Commander, Partition Commander, WebEasy Professional and WINProbe.

Commenting on the new appointment, Paragon CEO Konstantin Komarov said, “Paragon plans to aggressively expand its presence and product lines within the US and worldwide, over the next year.
