Alachisoft releases NCachePoint 2.0: The SharePoint performance solution now supports SharePoint 2010
The new version also offers fast and reliable RBS provider, includes great new features and better interfaceSan Ramon, California – July 15, 2010 – Alachisoft – the maker of the leading .NET distributed caching solution NCache and SharePoint performance solution NCachePoint – today announced the release new version of NCachePoint. NCachePoint 2.0 supports SharePoint 2010 and comes with better performance, new features and a strong monitoring tool. The product is aimed at enhancing the performance and scalability of SharePoint applications to the next level.
The new release includes following major additions:
• SharePoint 2010 Support: NCachePoint 2.0 can now be installed on SharePoint 2010.
• Fast & Reliable RBS Provider: The new NCachePoint 2.0 for SharePoint 2010 now has full support for Remote BLOB Storage (RBS) and existing storage providers with both EBS and RBS can be used.
• Powerful Monitoring Tool: NCachePoint Monitoring Tool allows monitoring performance counters published by NCache and NCachePoint for the entire farm. It also allows viewing SharePoint logs of all the WFEs of the farm on a single farm node. It greatly simplifies monitoring of Cache, BLOBs, List and Jobs activity.
• Image Combining (Dynamic CSS Sprites): SharePoint 2007 includes the image combining feature that helps improve your application performance. NCachePoint 2.0 is able to dynamically generate CSS sprites to further reduce HTTP round trips between the client and web browser, giving even better performance.
With this new release, NCachePoint becomes the top choice when it comes to improving SharePoint performance. Combining major features like BLOB externalization, fast RBS provider, caching and content optimization as an all in one solution makes NCachePoint the only software solution with all these features and hence has no match.
