Cygnet Infotech releases Microsoft SharePoint based Help Desk Software for managing service requests with multiple choices of workflows for its client

Our client, a corporate based in Italy wanted to upgrade his manual CSR driven Service Request system to web based system for improving customer service by improving ticket management and task accountability.
The system design request included a single workflow based dash board for employees, automatic ticket assignment, provide suggestions for solutions by utilizing the Knowledge base created through ticket management, and provide an escalation policy.
This system was developed and a web based outlook add-in that used Active Directory based authentication using Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007, MS SQL 2005, Dot Net Framework 2.0 and Microsoft Enterprise Library 3.1.
The work flow based application delivered as an outlook add-in, became a single application across enterprise for managing service requests with central Knowledge repository, fast information retrieval, employee accountability, real time data for informed decision making resulting in quick turnaround time and better customer service to client requests.
The application was delivered on schedule with multilingual support (English and Spanish versions were released in first phase)
