Press release from: meeco AG
PR Agency: MEDIENKONTOR
(openPR) - With the acquisition of a CellCube 10/100, The meeco Group begins as the exclusive distribution partner of this product from the German company a+f GmbH (who acquired a majority stake in Cellstrom, the Austrian manufacturer of the CellCube).
The CellCube products were recently exhibited at Intersolar, the world’s largest solar industry trade fair. ”This powerful, long-lasting, and low maintenance battery solves energy storage problems and provides power without interruption. It can be charged by either the traditional grid or renewable sources such as solar and wind, then provide constant electricity at night or during calm winds. As a result, the CellCube can balance energy supply and demand as needed.“ explains Dieter Trutschler, a member of The meeco Group Board of Directors.
“Now, after years of research, the CellCube energy storage system has reached series production readiness. The meeco Group is ready to clearly and practically demonstrate the advantages of the CellCube to our customers. We are convinced our customers will be thrilled about the potential this battery offers,” says Dieter Trutschler.
The CellCube is available in two sizes to satisfy the diverse needs of customer. “CellCube could be used as a buffer storage for energy installations, for private purposes, or in the industrial sector”, Mr. Trutschler concludes.
Consolidated in May 2000 in Zug (Switzerland) meeco AG has two main areas of activity:
