(openPR) - CMS 2000 is a Digital Signage Central Management Server which has been specifically designed to improve the operational efficiency of network based media players.

Powered by the Intel® Core® 2 Duo E7400 CPU and equipped with feature-rich PowerDigis central management software, CMS 2000 can support the operation of up to 250 networked digital signage players. CMS 2000 is therefore the ideal dedicated management server for medium sized digital signage networks within retail, hospitality, transportation and education.

The powerful central management software within the CMS 2000 enables users to centrally manage up to 250 Media Players, this means users can remotely add, remove, stop, start or reset individual media players/groups of media players. In addition, Digital Signage Presentations can be centrally hosted, distributed and scheduled via CMS 2000, whilst software updates can also be managed remotely.
CMS is designed for rackmount installation and has numerous I/O interfaces including 2 x USB, 4 x LAN, 1 x RJ45 and 1 x VGA. The CMS series is designed for use with all platforms in Nexcom’s PowerDigis range of Digital Signage Appliances, a series which includes low-cost products aimed at single/dual screen deployments, right through to high-end platforms capable of supporting four independent displays and HD Video wall.
