(openPR) - Solar Velocity, a growing leader in the interactive marketing industry, is proud to announce that it has been named one of Cobb Top 25 Small Businesses of the Year by the Cobb Chamber of Commerce and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution for the 9th consecutive year.

Businesses were nominated earlier this year, and after a review by an independent panel of judges, Solar Velocity was selected as one of the Top 25 companies. Candidates were evaluated based on the criteria published by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Those criteria include staying power, growth in number of employees, increase in sales or unit volume, current and past financial standing, innovative products and services, response to adversity, evidence of contributions to aid community projects and overall management philosophy.

The Top 25 were recognized at the Cobb Chamber’s First Monday Breakfast on June 7. The Cobb Chamber of Commerce represents Cobb County’s diverse, dynamic business community.
