Software allows multiple mouse cursors to collaborate on one desktop

Press release from: Bartels Media
MultiMouse
MultiMouse
(openPR) - Bartels Media GmbH has released MultiMouse, a multi-user Windows application that allows up to 50 users to use the mouse and keyboard on their PCs to control the desktop of a central computer.

Each user can move the mouse cursor out of their desktop to make it appear on the common computer. Each mouse cursor has a customizable name tag to identify each user on the shared computer screen.

Educators and trainers can use MultiMouse to work together with groups of students. Each student can participate and contribute with classmates on a common SmartBoard. The MultiMouse's control panel allows the teacher to invite or block individual students.

MultiMouse uses the wireless or Ethernet network connection to transmit the mouse position and text input. MultiMouse does not require additional hardware.

MultiMouse works on any combination of laptops, netbooks, desktops, or tablet PCs running any mix of Microsoft 32 or 64-Bit Windows 2003/XP/Vista/7.

Educational discounts are available. A demo version can be downloaded from www.multimouse.com/ .

Bartels Media has been developing and marketing Windows productivity software for business and home users since 1997. In addition to MultiMouse, the company also offers MaxiVista, an application that turns a spare desktop, laptop, or netbook PC into a dual monitor for the primary computer; and PhraseExpress, a program that expands text abbreviations and organizes frequently-used text snippets.
