(openPR) - Houston (May 24, 2010) – The global law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP has assisted Inova Labs, Inc. (“Inova Labs”) in the issuance and sale of 909,091 shares of Series A Preferred Stock and Warrants for another 81,100 shares of Series A Preferred Stock. The private placement went to investment funds affiliated with Three Arch Partners, a health care-focused fund based in Silicon Valley, California.

W. Christopher Schaeper and Julie A. Mediamolle, both members of the Firm’s Corporate and Securities Practice Group in Houston, represented Inova Labs on the transaction. The money raised through the private placement will be used for nationwide and international sales expansion of the Inova’s LifeChoice® portable oxygen concentrator product line, continuation of next stage developments, and working capital. An added benefit of this expansion will be the addition of an estimated 75 jobs to the Texas market over the next year.
