(openPR) - Münster (Germany), 20 April 2010. By hiring Dr. Thomas Baierl, Diapharm (diapharm.com) has added to its staff at the Münster location as of 1 April 2010. At the same time, the pharmaceutical industry service provider is improving its ability to provide consultancy services for prescription medicinal products. Baierl, who has a doctorate in biology, is taking over management of the Regulatory Affairs Pharma team at Diapharm. Together with his team members, he will be advising manufacturers of medicinal products on national and international regulatory issues. He will also be helping to build up and manage the associated quality dossiers.

Dr. Thomas Baierl brings 14 years of experience in regulatory affairs to Diapharm. Until March 2010, as the manager responsible for regulatory affairs, he led a team for haemophilia and oncology medicinal products at Wyeth Pharma GmbH, a Pfizer Group company. Baierl received his doctorate from the University of Karlsruhe.
