Noack T 4 blister packaging line

Noack T 4 blister packaging line

At Total Processing & Packaging 2010, the Romaco Group will present the highlights of its product portfolio in the areas of Packaging and Processing. The blister packaging line Noack T 4 convinces by its innovative QuickFeed, QuickAdjust and QuickTransfer systems.
Absolutely reproducible process parameters distinguish the FrymaKoruma MaxxD Lab vacuum processing unit.

Equipped with the innovative QuickFeed, QuickAdjust and QuickTransfer systems, the blister packaging line Noack T 4 offers the most flexible and efficient processes. The unit was specially designed for frequent format changes and is particularly suited for the production of small and medium batch sizes. With the patented QuickFeed feeding unit, a product changeover can be accomplished in seconds. During the refitting, the complete unit is manually removed and cleaned. In the interim, the production can continue via a second, pre-equipped unit. The servo controlled station regulation system QuickAdjust assures precise operation of sealing, coding, perforating and stamping. Subsequently, the blisters are transported from the four-track QuickTransfer transport station into stackable cassettes. The functional pick-and-place system processes various blister layouts and rotates the applications by 90 degrees if needed. With a maximum output of 400 blisters per minute, the products are transferred to the Promatic PC 4000 continuous motion horizontal cartoner. Up to 15 servo drives assure smooth processes in the primary and secondary packaging of pharmaceuticals with the Noack T 4.

The FrymaKoruma MaxxD Lab vacuum processing unit serves the production of emulsions and suspensions for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries. The lab model of the machine is primarily used for the development of recipes. Based on its absolutely reproducible process parameters, the unit is especially convenient for the implementation of scale-up procedures. Equipped with a high-performance homogenizer, the MaxxD processes liquid and dry ingredients according to the rotor-stator principle. The rapid uptake of dry materials via vacuum accelerates the homogenization procedure. Due to its short production and cleaning times, the technology is particularly suitable for small batch sizes.

The products can be viewed from May 25 to 27, 2010 at Total Processing & Packaging, in the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, England,
booth 5150.
