Basel, Switzerland, April 7, 2010 - The pioneer of art-world televison on the Internet brings its viewers an upgrade to High Definition, significantly enhancing the viewing experience.
Since its founding in September, 2005, VernissageTV - the Internet pioneer in art-world television - has produced, published and archived over 1250 episodes about contemporary art, design and architecture. Starting today, VernissageTV is publishing its episodes in High Definition. This will enable viewers to enjoy the art and ambiance of the art world with significant visual enhancement. A Standard Definition version is available alternatively, ensuring compatibility with iPod, iPhone, Android and other mobile devices. With this move, VernissageTV delivers optimized viewing experience for any device, be it the screen of a computer, TV set or mobile device.

The objective is to give an authentic insight into the world of art by the means of film and video. VernissageTV materializes as video podcast / Internet TV channel / video archive.
