Lviv Outsourcing Forum 2010

(openPR) - LVIV, Ukraine – March 29, 2010 – N-iX, Ukrainian IT outsourcing provider of software solutions and engineering services, has taken part in Lviv Outsourcing Forum 2010 on March 27.
First Outsourcing Forum took place in Lviv, on March 27. This conference was dedicated to mechanisms of customers’ stream generation.
The point was to examine issues of attracting customers to outsourcing projects, problems of projects’ specialization and general Lviv attractiveness for IT-BPO business. Lots of IT specialists from Lviv and Kyiv have participated in this event. Officials of such biggest Lviv IT companies as N-iX, SoftServe, Eleks were presented and held speeches on the main issues of the conference.
Idea of conducting such conference rose up from the need of a defined strategy for IT cluster development in Lviv. In 2009 Lviv was named among 30 best IT-BPO destinations in the world and among 11 in EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Lviv authorities have announced IT-BPO sector as one of the most perspective for the city development together with the tourism. At present the city has around 50 IT companies and one of the biggest pools of IT specialists in Ukraine.
The first step on the path to IT sector development was an establishment of Lviv IT-BPO Cluster as a general strategy and development driver. The Cluster is a formal organization aiming at gaining synergy, advantages and financial benefits of joint actions & cooperation. The greatest benefit of the Cluster is a cooperation of business, authorities, NGOs and education representatives within it.
