PSI presents new developments at Energy 2010
Press release from: PSI AG
(openPR) - Berlin, 31 March 2010 – At the Energy Show (Hall 13, stand C45), which takes place as part of the Hannover Trade Fair from 19 - 23 April 2010, PSI will be presenting the latest developments in network control and workforce management technology and will be showcasing these new functions with international projects.
The innovations include advanced functions for the network control systems of transmission network operators and combined energy control systems for a wide variety of segments. Additionally, PSI will be showing crisis management functions and multi-criteria optimisation features for workforce deployment planning which are integrated in the workforce management system PSIcommand.
On the joint stand E-Energy (Hall 13, Stand C51) PSI will also be presenting system components for intelligent energy management. PSI is currently part of a consortium which is cooperating on the E-Energy research project “Smart Watts” and is developing key components for an information and control system for the energy industry. The aim of this project is to provide overarching control and optimisation of energy portfolios. In addition to standard portfolio management functions, the new system will include innovative technologies that can be used to directly control production and customers’ consumption behaviour.
PSI AG develops and integrates complete solutions, on the basis of its own software products, for the management of energy networks (electricity, gas, oil, heat, water), cross-company production management (metals, automotive, mechanical and plant engineering, logistics) and infrastructure management for telecommunications, transport and safety. PSI was founded in 1969 and employs 1,400 persons in the group. www.psi.de
