(openPR) - On 4 March, the first “Actuator Day” of the VAG Group took place in Hodonín (Czech Republic). On this day, JMA, VAG’s Czech subsidiary, offered seven well-known manufacturers of actuators the possibility of presenting their range of products. Visitors to the in-house trade show included 200 prospective customers from the general industry, water supply industry, generation of energy sector and technology companies.

Manufacturers exhibiting their products included AUMA, REGADA and ZPA Pečky as the manufacturer of electric actuators and FESTO, the manufacturer specialising in pneumatic actuators. The companies that also presented themselves were Pepperl & Fuchs, marketing specialists for position sensors and pneumatic accessories, POKORNÝ for ROTORK actuators and FLUIDTECHNIK Bohemia for pneumatic and electric actuators.

Besides their visit to the exhibition, visitors could also expand their expert knowledge by attending the expert talks offered. From the current trends in the field of electric actuators to the automation of valves through pneumatic actuators and the principles and possibilities of valve position sensors, all subjects around actuation technology were covered.

Again, JMA, the VAG subsidiary, was able to prove its excellence as the manufacturer of premium-quality valves. Due to the wide range of products and VAG’s co-operation with the actuator manufacturers as partners, solutions optimally adapted to their needs could be offered to customers.

All visitors were impressed by this event and provided positive feedback without exception. Due to this feedback, JMA decided to repeat this event in the year 2011.
