After the big success of Touch Controls Suite 1 which was released about a year ago, mirabyte now presents Touch Controls Suite 2 that comes with many improvements and several great new features such as a fully reengineered TouchListBox control that combines features such as kinetic scrolling and intelligent caching with a maximum of flexibility for the developer (various list item types, owner draw functionality etc.). It has never been easier to create great looking applications that are intuitive to use on the Windows Mobile platform. Especially for developers that sell their applications the Windows Marketplace for Mobile, Touch Controls Suite is a great choice!
Touch Controls Suite is based on the .NET Compact Framework and can be used with programming languages such as C# or VB.NET. But the new version of Touch Controls Suite can not only be used for Windows Mobile development – it is also fully compatible to the "full" .NET Framework that is used on desktop computers. So Touch Controls Suite can also be used to create touch screen enabled applications for the desktop with the same controls as for the mobile devices. Porting mobile applications to the desktop and vice-versa is very easy now and gives the developer a full set of new possibilities.
Touch Controls Suite is available from the mirabyte Website. Apart from a fully functional (programmable) demo version that comes with several sample applications, a single developer license is available for only 49.95 EUR (introductory price) as well as a license that includes the source code. For existing users of Touch Controls Suite 1.x mirabyte offers special update prices.
