(openPR) - PLYMOUTH, Ind. – (March 17, 2010) – Psychiatric Solutions, Inc. (PSI) recently named Dr. Robert Raster as the new chief medical officer of Michiana Behavioral Health Center. Dr. Raster will oversee the facility’s quality of care.

Prior to joining Michiana, Dr. Raster served 14 years as a staff psychiatrist at Madison Center in South Bend. Dr. Raster has also performed psychiatric evaluations and assessments at Edgewater Wellness Clinic in Chicago and was a psychiatrist at the Far Northwest Counseling Center.
After graduating from The University of Notre Dame, Dr. Raster received a doctoral degree in medicine from Wayne State University in Detroit and served his residency at Northwestern University in Chicago. In 1997, he earned certification as a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
