BigBrothers BigSisters of Central Texas is a non-profit organization dedicated to help children reach their potential through professionally supported one-to-one relationships.
Mr. Hopkins is a partner in the Health Law Department of Thompson & Knight’s Austin office. He focuses his practice on administrative and regulatory defense and litigation. He advises clients on government requirements and resident safety issues in health care and other regulated industries to minimize litigation exposure when enforcement may be sought by governmental or private entities, with an emphasis on proactive measures to ensure compliance. Mr. Hopkins' expertise includes medical staff issues, consent to treatment and medical record issues, all aspects of health care facility and professional licensure, and compliance with rules of state and federal regulatory agencies.
