DreamLife's rich week view

DreamLife's rich week view

DreamSpring today released the long awaited life manager DreamLife for S60, combining contacts and calendar, for Symbian devices running S60 5th Edition.

Following its UIQ predecessor, DreamLife for S60 exhibits many innovative features specially adapted to the S60 platform to help smartphone users manage life's activities, private or public, with ease. It replaces the standard calendar and contacts on Symbian smartphones.

DreamLife is the only application on the Symbian platform that fully integrates calendar entries with contacts, providing a single entry point to both calendar and contacts as well as true live contact links from activities. Active links allow users to tap on an attendee or location in the pop-up activity details window and jump to the linked contact’s details, from which they can call, message, or read the address of the contact.

DreamLife highlights an innovative two-pane context editor, the first in the industry. With a day planner visible in the activity editor, users can quickly view available time slots and schedule activities in the context of the day. This reduces activity conflicts and eliminates wasteful rescheduling of unintended conflicts.

DreamLife's vibrant and rich planner calendar view combines a unique, zoomable layout with extensive visual indicators to provide a superior overview of activities including appointment, todo and reminder text, categories and status at a glance.

The S60 version of DreamLife includes many time saving and user friendly features. Visit http://www.dreamspring.com/products/dreamlife-for-s60/dreamlife-for-s60.html for more information on DreamLife for S60. Users can trial DreamLife for S60 at http://www.dreamspring.com/products/dreamconnect-for-s60/download.html before purchase.

On the announcement of DreamLife S60 version, Managing Director Malcolm Lithgow says: “DreamLife for S60 has been long time coming, since its announcement over a year ago. We've been working extra hard to make sure this version of DreamLife takes advantage of S60 5th Ed while still delivering the at-a-glance and at-a-touch planner views of DreamLife. It's been a challenging experience, but I'm confident that our efforts will benefit many users. 3rd Edition versions of DreamLife are undergoing final usability polishing, and will be coming soon."

DreamLife offers Symbian smartphone users a simpler and more effective way of managing their activities. DreamLife S60 version is available for €35 or as an upgrade to current DreamConnect S60 customers for €15 at dreamspring.com.
