(openPR) - Munich, 04 March 2010 - Even last season, he worked on the fastest supercars in the world at “Brawn Grand Prix Formula One Team”, inter alia responsible for the concept and design of the racing car of the Formula One World Champion Jenson Button. Now, the former technical director, Jörg Zander, provides his widely acclaimed technical know-how to serve the automotive industry of the future.

With his company, JZ Engineering GmbH, the technology guru reports for duty with the founders and managing directors of the Munich-based trive GmbH, Stefan Klostermann and Matthias Schmid, to radically change the automobile cityscape. Together, the experienced team wants to promote an electrically driven urban vehicle that meets the highest technological and price standards in terms of both environmental and styling. "Later this year we will present the public with a prototype close to series production, but until then we will keep the car secret," says Matthias Schmid.

Zander, who graduated in mechanical engineering, does not give up his enthusiasm for technically sophisticated vehicles in his commitment to the car. "The automotive industry is facing the enormous challenge of ensuring the individual mobility of urban people, whilst investing intelligently in the ecological balance of our society and to lower price hurdles. The trive matches the challenge in all areas ", says Zander.

The founders of trive have been working on their vision of future mobility since the end of 2008. The collaboration with Zander is for them the continuation of this vision. Stefan Klostermann says, "Jörg Zander is the innovative technical head that trive needs for its success. Nobody is more appropriate to transfer the complex technical requirements into a vehicle that delights the customer, is sustainable and at the same time corresponds to the new accountability requirements. "

The start-up trive is in continuous growth. Matthias Schmid: "For this reason, we are open to potential partners and investors who want to share our vision and go down this path with us." Thus, the optimal base for the imminent entry of trive is created.

The trive GmbH is a German start-up company, founded in late 2008. The founders Stefan Klostermann and Matthias Schmid have the goal of transforming urban mobility. They are realising the vision of creating a vehicle that provides an answer to the challenges of urban mobility, without compromising the needs of customers for individuality, lifestyle and comfort.
