World’s First Autonomous Plug&Play Feedback Controller „RTAC“ from ExpertControl

Press release from: ExpertControl GmbH
(openPR) - Martinsried / Munich, Germany, March 2, 2010: The CAE software developer ExpertControl further extends its head start in feedback control for the broad automation market again. The software tools ecICP and ecCST already offer capabilities which eclipse other control design utilities. With the autonomous plug&play feedback controller RTAC (Realtime Adaptive/Automatic Control), ExpertControl takes one more step forward and combines fully automatic control design, parameter tuning and data acquisition within one application.

„It’s hard to understand and realize what’s happening here right now …“ says Gunter Philipps, Sales Manager at ExpertControl, “Key activities of measurement and control engineering which cost professional and experienced engineers days or even weeks, are carried out by RTAC within the twinkling of an eye.” Rather than dealing with time consuming control design procedures like root locus, LQR, Bode, tuning rules, Ziegler-Nichols, optimum criteria, Fuzzy control, Kalman Filter, observer, state control and others, the user is merely required to do the cabling and then pressing the start button. RTAC passes through the entire operating area autonomously once and enables the optimal closed-loop operation mode.

The future of feedback control is called: RTAC
