(openPR) - Los Angeles, CA (February 26, 2010)- On Friday and Saturday, March 12th and 13th, Chaske Spencer, star of The Twilight Saga film series: New Moon and Eclipse is set to attend the United Global Shift (UGS) conference in Marina Del Rey, CA. The conference at BURTON CHACE PARK (13650 MINDANAO WAY, MARINA DEL REY CA 90292) from 10 am to 5 pm, will be co-led by Dr. Monica Sharma, formerly the Director of Leadership and Capacity Development at the United Nations.
Spencer shares, “Working with United Global Shift has opened my eyes and shifted my perception on what’s truly important in life. UGS has taught me to believe in myself as the shift, versus waiting for someone out there to change things. It has also allowed me to stay focused in order to be where I want in my career and in life.”
This two day conference will consist of a number of training sessions led by Dr. Sharma and Josselyne Herman-Saccio (founder of UGS and Chaske Spencer's talent manager). Chaske Spencer will be in attendance, designing projects in a way that creates awareness, creates alternative systems shifts as well as delivering results that are sustainable. More specifically, Spencer will be working on his project SHIFT THE POWER TO THE PEOPLE, which is currently focusing on the water crisis in the Native American community of the United States. It is a project designed to empower people to view themselves as the ones who will provide the answers and actions to make the difference and create justice, dignity and empowerment for all involved.

Chaske Spencer plays werewolf leader “Sam Uley” in the popular Summit Entertainment The Twilight Saga film series: New Moon and Eclipse.
