Dallas Law Firm Taber Estes Thorne & Carr No Longer an ‘All Girls Club’

Press release from: Taber Estes Thorne & Carr PLLC
(openPR) - DALLAS – At most law firms, new associates try to blend in without calling attention to themselves. But the newest addition is destined to stand out at Dallas’ Taber Estes Thorne & Carr PLLC, one of the few women-owned law firms in Texas. True to its commitment to diversity, the two-year-old firm recently welcomed Kevin Muenster as an associate.

“We know that great lawyers come in all different shapes, sizes, genders, colors, nationalities and backgrounds, and we never intended this to be an all-female firm,” says Jessica Thorne, a co-founder of the firm.

Mr. Muenster represents businesses and individuals in a wide variety of complex disputes, including state and federal claims, post-judgment proceedings and appeals. His expertise includes business disputes, energy litigation, construction claims, labor and employment matters, and appellate issues.

Mr. Muenster works closely with Melanie Okon, a partner in the firm.

“Kevin is one of the smartest and toughest young lawyers around, and I knew he would have no problem working in the firm’s environment,” says Ms. Okon.

A graduate of Sam Houston State University and Baylor Law School, Mr. Muenster previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Anne Gardner of the Second Court of Appeals of Texas in Fort Worth. He also worked at two respected Dallas-area firms prior to joining Taber Estes Thorne & Carr.

“This is a group of outstanding lawyers who work together to tenaciously represent their clients, says Mr. Muenster. “I’ve had the opportunity to play a major role in two trials in the short time I’ve been here, and that is the type of experience I was looking for.”

Taber Estes Thorne & Carr PLLC is one of the few women-owned law firms in Dallas. It features a collaborative team of highly experienced attorneys, representing clients in business litigation and transactions, labor and employment, family law, health care, energy, construction, insurance and other corporate legal matters.
