Vistage International, the world’s leading chief executive organization, has asked Lauch McKinnon, banking professional and entrepreneur, to chair a new Atlanta area Vistage Advisory Board Group for CEOs and business owners. More than 400 executives are currently involved in Vistage groups in the Atlanta area. During the next few months Mr. McKinnon will be holding qualifying interviews in order to build a selective group of high-performing executives.

“We’re searching for visionary business leaders who understand that as we surface from the economic downturn, things will not be business as usual. Companies must cultivate strategies for the new business landscape. Group members will be better equipped to adapt, compete and thrive in this changing environment,” said Mr. McKinnon.

The advisory group will be by-invitation only. To qualify for one of the planned sixteen seats, fellow business leaders will possess the unique combination of successful career achievements, yet still recognize the need to improve personally and professionally. Membership will require that individuals are willing to share a wealth of wisdom and knowledge and yet remain open to being challenged by a group of their peers. About Lauch McKinnon
Mr. McKinnon is a banking professional and entrepreneur who focus on enabling and facilitating success cultures in organizations ranging from start-ups to turn-arounds. He spent 18 years as a bank Chief Executive Officer including two new bank charters and the successful turn-around of two banks with regulatory challenges. As Organizing President and CEO of RockBridge Commercial Bank, McKinnon subscribed the highest level of capitalization for a new back charter in Georgia state history. As President and CEO of Bank of Hiawassee, he obtained relief from regulatory action in nine months and increased net income by 98.3% in only a four year period. He was also Organizing President and CEO of North Georgia Bank and President and CEO of Volunteer Bank. He is also founder and Principal of McKinnon Associates, Inc., a consulting and executive selection firm with a cumulative success rate of 92% on assignments. He is currently a Vistage Chair and has been an active member in the organization since 2003. Among his numerous professional affiliations are Partners in Education, Towns County Chamber of Commerce, and Georgia Mountain Research and Education Center.
