(openPR) - Audit Concept has joined Russell Bedford International as the global accounting network's correspondent firm in Morocco. Coming just days after the appointment of correspondents in Libya and Algeria, this addition completes Russell Bedford's coverage in the five key countries of North Africa.
Audit Concept was established in 2001 by the current principal, Rachid Boubakry. The firm is a public accounting and audit practice based in the centre of Casablanca, the business capital of Morocco.
The firm focuses mainly on statutory audit work. Other services include due diligence, company valuations, accounting and tax compliance, tax consulting, management consulting and training.
The client base comprises both national and multinational clients, primarily middle market companies in the services, manufacturing and distribution sectors. The firm has clients with overseas operations in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, France and Spain.
Since its foundation, the firm has worked closely with international accounting groups, including the Big-4, providing local audit support to international standards.
In addition to the principal, the firm has eight professional and support staff.
Rachid Boubakry has more than 11 years of professional experience. He is a registered public accountant and auditor and a member of the Moroccan institute of public accountants, the Ordre des Experts Comptables. He is also a graduate of one of Morocco’s leading business schools, ISCAE. Before establishing his own firm, Rashid was a senior auditor at a Big-4 firm in Morocco, participating in audit assignments in Morocco and France. He speaks Arabic, French and English.
