Press release from: Cott Systems

WORTHINGTON, OHIO – January 28, 2010 - Cott Systems announced today that the Jefferson County Clerk’s office (New York) is the first office in the state to utilize the newly available records management solution, resolution3, to cashier, index, scan and make county records available for search.

Jefferson County Clerk’s office moved forward with resolution3, Cott Systems’ latest solution for county clerks because of the efficiencies it would offer both to her staff, but also those who search her records in her office. “We try to offer our services in a timely manner, but the amount of time resolution3 saves us makes it all worth it", said County Clerk, Cheryl Lane.

The new solution also offers the latest in records search capabilities. Standard with resolution3 is the latest in records searching technology, eSearch. Each searcher is set up with a user name and password and then is able to access the advanced features of the system. “By allowing each user to set up their own sign-on, it gives them each an opportunity to ‘customize’ their searching experience,” said Bob Mains, VP of Technology and Services at Cott Systems. “We were careful to listen to our customers and their searching public to build eSearch according to their current needs and keeping ahead of technology for tomorrow”. eSearch can be accessed by visiting the County Clerk’s office.

Resolution3 is now available for the entire state of New York. The new system not only gives the County Clerk’s office a wide range of workflow options, it also gives them the opportunity to utilize new optional technologies and services like AutoRedaction for sensitive data, eRecording, eBackup (Disaster Recovery Service), Web Hosting, eCommerce, and coming soon, eFiling.
