Digta 420 with "Easy Mode"

Digta 420 with "Easy Mode"

“Easy Mode” simplifies dictation

Naperville, IL – January 22, 2010 – Grundig Business Systems, one of the world's leading suppliers of professional dictation systems, has won bronze in the Dictation Systems category at the 2009 LTN Vendor Awards for its Digta 420 with “Easy Mode”. The renowned LTN Vendor Awards are presented each year by the magazine Law Technology News (LTN). Visitors at the 2010 LegalTech will have the opportunity to test how uncomplicated dictating can be with the Digta 420 at GBS´s booth, number 2125. LegalTech will be taking place on February 1 to 3, in New York, NY, at Hilton New York Hotel.

Limited to the essentials
If set on “Easy Mode”, dictating with the digital dictation device Digta 420 is especially easy. The display is then limited to the absolute essentials, and the buttons are set for performing only the most important dictation functions. “Many users only use a few digital dictation functions that go beyond basic recording. We have responded to this increasing demand for simple dictation devices by introducing the “Easy Mode”,” says GBS Managing Director Roland Hollstein.

One special “Easy Mode” feature: settings made in the usual full operation mode are still retained after switching over to “Easy Mode”. This includes settings such as microphone sensitivity: workflow functions according to types of dictations, groups, and secretarial offices; or, for example, energy-saving functions.

Growing emphasis on simple products
GBS is setting ever more focus on simple dictation. Just last March the Germany based company introduced its DigtaSoft One speech processing software. This simplified version is also very easy to install: “Just three clicks, and then DigtaSoft One is ready for customer use in 45 seconds,” explains Hollstein.
