(openPR) - As every year, the city of Viareggio, a beautiful seaside resort located in Versilia area (Tuscany), between January and February is going to start celebrations for the great event representing its ancient local tradition: the Carnival of Italy and Europe.
Four weeks full of events and celebrations which will go on until late, conceived in order to celebrate the craziest and most beloved Carnival in Italy with much music, colored masks and fun. Performances, district celebrations, masked parades characterized by allegorical floats, streamers and confetti. This seems to be the perfect time for visiting Viareggio, while spending a nice holiday, and perhaps a learning holiday in order to study Italian language.
The Carnival of Viareggio is a worldwide famous event, a perfect occasion to meet new people coming from different countries. This is the reason why the Italian language school Centro Puccini (www.centropuccini.it/index.html) created the special Italian language course “Carnival Week” (www.centropuccini.it/courses.htm#carneval), during which students will have the chance to learn Italian language by attending morning Italian lessons, where they will have the opportunity to know new people, speak Italian, and in the evening have a good time with the carnival celebrations and parties.
In fact, such a course will include many activities such as:
- a morning standard Italian language program, conceived to improve conversation and language skills, and heighten the awareness and appreciation of Italian culture;
- an orientation tour on the carnival of Italy and Europe;
- a guided tour to the "Citadel" (the Carnival town) and to the Carnival museum;
- participation at shows and cultural events, such as fun musical comedies and masked balls;
- participation at Carnival parades.
Next sessions of the Italian language course “Carnival Week” will take place from February 1st to February 12th, and from February 15th to February 26th.
