Public vote for the Browser Game of the Year 2009 opened

(openPR) - From 5th to 20th January 2010 browser game enthusiasts can choose their favorite browser game 2009 in the Browser Game of the Year Award.

From 5th January 2010 the votes on the Browser Game of the Year Award 2009 are opened on the official website www.browsergameoftheyear.com. Nearly 50 games have qualified this year for the race for the most important award for browser games, as specified by the organizer GalaxyNews. The games compete in 12 categories against each other.

All browser game lovers are now called to cast their vote and to elect the best browser based game published in 2009. Among all participants of the vote numerous prizes will be raffled.

Parallel to the public vote a competent, international team of journalists and developers decides on their winner in the jury score.

The Browser Game of the Year Awards are supported by the main sponsor GAN Game Ad Net as well as deal united, paysafecard and POPMOG.

This year’s media partners of GalaxyNews are GameBizz, Games Dynamite, GamesSphere, GamingXP, FreeBrowserGamer, MPOGD and OGLabs.

The votes take place up to the 20th January 2010. On 25 January will be the official announcement of this year's Browser Game of the Year winners.
